Administration including firmware and software updates and enhancements can be performed wirelessly. In the event a device is lost or stolen, a 'Kill Pill' can be sent to the device and all data deleted.

Navigation

Anchovee includes turn-by-turn directions both on screen and audible. Route preview is available with visual and audible turn-by-turn instructions. The 'Call' function allows the driver easy access to the customer using Sprint's robust wireless network. This feature could be helpful to drivers making deliveries to a secure building or for deliveries where they need assistance finding the unit/apartment within a complex. The driver can 'Go Home' or navigate to their next delivery easily. Fuel search using VISA transaction data can also help drivers locate affordable fuel based on their location.

Order Dispatch

The name and address for delivery are retrieved from the store database by entering the customer's phone number. The delivery location appears on the map as an Icon. Driver locations also appear. The Order can then be dispatched based on a complete view of orders and drivers to ensure maximum efficiency and potentially reduce delivery time.

Tracking

With Anchovee, GPS is used to log driver activity at regular intervals. Data including speed, location, direction and idle time can be reviewed using a robust reporting tool that offers playback of driver activity. Anchovee allows geographic zones to be established to assist in measuring driver time spent at the store versus making deliveries. This feature may be helpful to customers who need to distinguish between delivery and in-store hours for worker's compensation purposes. Satellite imagery can be applied to show visual details of any location throughout the delivery process.

Payment Processing

The Anchovee system is capable of credit card processing at the customer's location. Once the order is delivered, the driver selects the Payment menu and payment method. The customer's credit card is swiped. A tip can be added by the customer. The customer's signature is electronically captured on screen as part of the payment transaction. The transaction is completed wirelessly in seconds. A printed receipt is provided to the customer. There are potential benefits to in the form of speed of transaction, simplified record-keeping as well as credit card discount rates which may be lowered by swiping the credit card versus calling in the transaction for authorization.

Device Hardening
